OUR PRESIDENT FIRUZ BAĞLIKAYA MADE SIGNIFICANT EVALUATIONS DURING THE "PRESIDENTS’ SESSION: THOUGHT LEADERS REVEAL TOURISM FORECASTS FOR 2025" PANEL AT EMITT EXHIBITION

Our President of the Board Firuz Bağlıkaya shared important insights about the future of the tourism sector during the panel titled "Presidents’ Session: Thought Leaders Reveal Tourism Forecasts for 2025" held as part of the EMITT Exhibition.  

Moderated by Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Tourism Advisor Osman Ayık, the panel featured discussions with TTYD President Oya Narin and TÜROFED Erkan Yağcı, along with Bağlıkaya, who emphasized the importance of guiding the sector’s development process based on accurate data.  

In his remarks, Bağlıkaya stated, "We need to understand where we stand and where we are headed. Turkey is a tourism country, but we still have a long way to go."  

Bağlıkaya also addressed the tragic hotel fire that occurred at Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Resort, extending his condolences once again to the citizens who lost their lives in the incident. He said, “As the tourism community, we are deeply saddened, and we are ready to fulfill any responsibilities that fall upon us.”  

The panel, which conveyed important messages on sustainable growth and the future vision of tourism, was followed with great interest by the exhibition attendees.
