Firuz Bağlıkaya, Presidentof the Board of Directors, attended the "Sustainable Destination Management Panel" on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 and made an opening speech.

At the event; Şişli Mayor Muammer Keskin, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, TÜRSAB Board Members, RRB and Specialization Presidents, İRO President Hüseyin Özgür Özaltun, AYD President Nuri Şapkacı, Turkish German Sister Cities Federation President Özcan Mutlu, Özcan Biçer, President of Kenthaş, Hediye Güral Gür, Vice President of TÜROB, Ali Güreli, Vice President of TTYD, Burkhard Kieker, CEO of vistBerlin, Markus Facklam, International Coordinator of Berlin Partner, Hüseyin Gazi Coşan, Director of IBB Tourism Branch, representatives of the tourism sector and members of the press were also present.

In his opening speech at the event, Mr. Bağlıkaya pointed out that city-based rather than country-based studies have come to the fore and emphasized the need for a comprehensive destination management plan for the branding and sustainability of cities.
