OUR VICE PRESIDENT OF GASTRONOMY TOURISM SPECIALIZATION, ŞEBNEM URGANCIOĞLU PARTICIPATED IN THE PANEL “THE PLACE AND IMPORTANCE OF TURKISH CULINARY CULTURE IN INCREASING THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF A DESTINATION”

Şebnem Urgancıoğlu, Vice President of Gastronomy Tourism Specialization, attended the panel “The Place and Importance of Turkish Culinary Culture in Increasing the Attractiveness of Destinations” organized by Karabük University Tourism Faculty within the scope of the Turkish Cuisine Week activities organized by Karabük Governorship between 21-23 May 2024. 

During the panel, Urgancıoğlu shared her views on the importance of agencies in developing and transforming local cuisine into a tourism product and the contribution of information trips to the sector through surveys. Urgancıoğlu shared her views on the benefits of increasing experience-based activities such as festivals and workshops in terms of new products for travel agencies.
