PACKAGE TOUR WORKSHOP HELD AS PART OF THE 4TH TÜRSAB TOURISM CONGRESS

As part of the 4th TÜRSAB Tourism Congress, the Package Tour Workshop, organized under the coordination of our Cultural Tourism Specialization President Hakan Çokgezen, was held on Monday, April 6.

The workshop, conducted at five separate tables, was moderated by the TOAR Specialization President Erdal Çeri, the Nature and Adventure Tourism Specialization President Mikayil Köroğlu, the MICE Tourism Specialization President Gürkan Akün, and the Gastronomy Tourism Specialization President M. Tümay İmamoğlu , and the Deputy President of Cultural Tourism, İlker Horozcu, served as moderators. In addition to the members, the event—which was attended by the Board of Directors Vice Presidents Davut Günaydın and Hasan Eker, Board Members, Regional Representative Council Presidents, and President of Specialization—was concluded with broad-based participation.

During the workshop, where strategic topics aimed at enhancing sectoral efficiency were discussed, issues such as price-driven competition and erosion of profitability, unregistered and undocumented sales, the need for guides and qualified personnel, standardization and service quality, as well as infrastructure deficiencies in emerging destinations were comprehensively addressed. Through active participation by attendees, the sessions established a shared, solution-oriented vision focused on strengthening oversight mechanisms, improving digital processes, and enhancing service quality.
