THE 11TH OF OUR HEALTH TOURISM INFORMATION MEETINGS WAS HELD AT EDIRNE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY

The 11th of our Health Tourism Information Meetings was held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Edirne Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the meeting, Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer, Edirne Deputy Mayor Ertuğrul Tanrıkulu, Edirne Provincial Health Director Uzm. Prof. Dr. Mustafa İshak Yıldırım, Directorate General of International Service Trade Health and Travel Services Branch Manager Özgün Özenci, General Manager of International Health Services Joint Stock Company (USHAŞ) Behlül Ünver, Secretary General of Service Exporters Association (HİB) Dr. Fatih Özer, as well as TÜRSAB Board Member Elif Ural, TÜRSAB Thrace Region President Egemen Aydın made their speeches.

In the meeting, Edirne's location on the border of Bulgaria and Greece and its market share and potential in health tourism, evaluations on health tourism and nature tourism strategies in the European market, international health tourism authorization certificate criteria and legislation, health tourism processes throughout Turkey, legislation and health tourism potential between provinces, application procedures and principles of state incentives in health tourism, membership to the Service Exporters Association, preparation of incentive files and process management. The meeting ended with a question and answer session.
