THE 3RD TÜRSAB TOURISM CONGRESS HELD THE LAST SESSION OF THE FIRST DAY WITH THE PANEL “THE FUTURE OF HEALTH TOURISM”
The last session of the first day of our 3rd TÜRSAB Tourism Congress, which started today at Antalya Gloria Golf Resort and continued with intense participation with the motto of “Education, Communication and Solidarity”, was moderated by TÜRSAB Board Member Elif Ural.
USHAŞ General Manager Behlül Ünver, OHSAD Board Member and Health Tourism Committee President Dr. Cengüz Gül and TOBB Health Assembly President Özgür Öztan discussed in detail the development of health tourism, the global dimensions of trade and Turkey's competitive advantages in this field.
Elif Ural said, “As TÜRSAB, we are planning a health tourism training program. We will make our travel agencies more effective in this field” and stated that the sector will be strengthened with training.
Özgür Öztan said, “We should make health tourism a national issue and act with common sense. We must grow our sector by protecting our quality” and emphasized the importance of quality and cooperation.
Cengiz Gül said, “Turkey has risen to 7th place in the world in the field of health. However, we must weed out the rotten ones in our sector and make the quality sustainable” and drew attention to quality and inspections.
We will continue to work by joining forces with all our stakeholders to achieve Turkey's health tourism goals.
