THE FIRST MEETING OF THE 26TH TERM M.I.C.E TOURISM SPECIALIZATION DEPARTMENT PRESIDENCY OF TÜRSAB WAS HELD

The first meeting of the TÜRSAB 26th Term M.I.C.E Tourism Specialization Department was held in a hybrid format on Wednesday, March 4, at TÜRSAB. Central Office, leaded by the Specialization Department President Gürkan Akün.

The meeting was attended by the TÜRSAB Board Vice Presidents Davut Günaydın and Hasan Eker, Board Members Gürkan Özcan, Tülay Salihoğlu and Özgür Ildır Öksüz, the President Advisor Ertan Demirbaş, the Cultural Tourism Specialization President Hakan Çokgezen, the Specialization Vice Presidents İlker Habeşoğlu, Burcu Gürol, and Yusuf Cemal Yüksel, as well as TURSAV General Manager Çetin Gürcün and the Specialization Department members.

The meeting began with the introduction of the 26th Term members and the sharing of goals for the new term. The TÜRSAB M.I.C.E Tourism Travel Agencies Sector Meeting held on February 13, 2026, was evaluated, and the organization's contributions to the tourism sector were discussed; the outcomes of the regional meetings held last year were reviewed, and views were exchanged on the new term calendar. In addition, proposals for re-planning the symposium were evaluated and a roadmap was shaped. The meeting concluded after gathering the views and suggestions of the members, emphasizing that cooperation and coordination would be strengthened in the new term to accelerate the work.
