THE FIRST SESSION OF THE 3RD TÜRSAB TOURISM CONGRESS, “AVIATION IN THE FUTURE OF TOURISM” WAS PRESENTED BY SANI ŞENER, PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF TAV CONSTRUCTION

It started today at Antalya Gloria Golf Resort and will continue for two days with the motto of “Education, Communication and Solidarity”. The first session of the 3rd TÜRSAB Tourism Congress, which was attended by more than 1500 travel agencies and sector representatives, “Aviation in the Future of Tourism” was held with the valuable presentation of TAV Construction President Sani Şener.

In his panel, Mr. Şener emphasized the critical role of airports in the tourism chain and stated that they operate 15 airports today despite the crises. Pointing out that the number of daily flights has increased from 600 to 1568 with the improvements made in the aviation sector, Şener said that tourism contributes 100 billion dollars to the Gross Domestic Product, but that the happiness of people is also important in addition to economic growth. He also emphasized that competition should be carried out together with cooperation and that the sector should grow in solidarity.
