THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE HEALTH TOURISM SPECIALIZATION DEPARTMENT WAS HELD

The monthly meeting of the Health Tourism Specialization Presidency Department was held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Central Office of TÜRSAB in a hybrid format, coordinated by the Specialization President Şehnaz Atak Askeroğlu.

The meeting was attended by the Board Member Özgür Ildır Öksüz, our Health Tourism Specialization Vice Presidents, and members of the Specialization Presidency.

During the meeting, discussions with the Ministry of Finance and the Revenue Administration were reviewed, and the current status of ongoing projects was addressed. Requests were also raised regarding the need for certified health tourism travel agencies to benefit from corporate tax and

VAT exemptions applied to service exports under the same standards as healthcare institutions and physicians.

Additionally, members’ views and suggestions were gathered, and action plans for the upcoming period were reviewed.
