THE MONTHLY REGULAR MEETING OF THE TÜRSAB CULTURAL TOURISM SPECIALIZATION DEPARTMENT WAS HELD AT TÜRSAB CENTRAL OFFICE
The TÜRSAB Culture Tourism Specialization Department held its monthly regular meeting in a hybrid format at our Headquarters, chaired by the Culture Tourism Specialization Department Head Hakan Çokgezen.
The meeting was attended by Board of Directors members Tülay Salihoğlu and Özgür Ildır Öksüz, Fatih RRB President Okan Cem Başusta, TOAR Specialization President Erdal Çeri, Gastronomy Tourism Specialization President M. Tümay İmamoğlu, School Tours Committee President Ferhat Günbay, as well as our Specialization Vice Presidents and members.
During the meeting, the panel titled “Viking Traces in Istanbul and the Bathonea Ancient Port City Excavations” was discussed, along with the outcomes of the work conducted in Mardin Midyat and tourism activities in Düzce and Afyon.
As part of planning for the upcoming period, a special Belgrade Forest excursion for May 19, a tourism seminar for young people, and a university-collaborative YouTube project were discussed. Additionally, new tourism routes planned for implementation, as well as projects focused on gastronomy and experiential tourism, were evaluated.
