The traditional Kakava Fire, one of Edirne's deep-rooted cultural heritage, was lit in Sarayiçi with the participation of our Trakya Regional Representation Board President Egemen Aydın.
Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer and Edirne Mayor Filiz Gencan Akın accompanied the Kakava Fire lighting ceremony organized as part of the Kakava Festivities.
We would like to thank everyone who worked for the lighting of the Kakava Fire, which dates back thousands of years and symbolizes spring.
