THE “WOMEN'S POWER IN TOURISM” TRAINING PROGRAM ORGANIZED IN COOPERATION WITH THE MINISTRY OF FAMILY AND SOCIAL SERVICES HAS BEGUN
The “Tourism Rising with Women's Power” Training Program, implemented within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies and the Ministry of Family and Social Services, began with an introductory and orientation meeting attended by prospective trainees. The first meeting of the project, which aims to increase the quality of the female workforce in the tourism sector and highlight women's labor in sectoral development, was held.
At the event, attended by Hüseyin Keleş, Deputy Provincial Director of Family and Social Services in Istanbul, and Oya Ebru Küçükel, Advisor to the President of TÜRSAB, a comprehensive presentation on the training process was given to the candidates included in the training program. The technical training that trainees will receive during the program, career opportunities in the sector, and the strategic importance of the training program in terms of women's participation in economic life were emphasized.
The orientation program, which detailed the preparations prior to the training, concluded with answers to questions from the candidates and a sharing of the future vision of the training program. In cooperation with the Ministry of Family and Social Services, we will continue to add value to the tourism ecosystem with the skills and labor of women, support women's employment, and lead the sector.
