"TRAVEL AGENCIES ANKARA MEETING" WAS HELD
On Thursday, February 1, 2024, "Travel Agencies Ankara Meeting" was held with our travel agencies at Ankara Ato Congresium. A message of 'Unity and solidarity' was given against the draft law that includes the division of TÜRSAB and threatens the future of our travel agencies.
Our President Firuz Bağlıkaya, Vice Presidents Davut Günaydın and Hasan Eker, Board Members, Audit and Disciplinary Board Members, Chief Advisors to the President and Regional Representative Board Presidents attended the meeting, which was attended by more than 1000 travel agency representatives and members of the press.
Our President Firuz Bağlıkaya explained in detail the articles of the new draft law that will negatively affect our Association, travel agencies and our sector. Pointing out that if TÜRSAB is divided, the representation power of travel agencies will be damaged and multi-headedness will occur in the sector, Mr. Bağlıkaya stated that if the draft law is accepted, small-scale travel agencies will face the threat of closure in the face of those with large capital power.
Stating that he believes that Mr. President, state authorities and the Veteran Assembly will not allow such a mistake, Bağlıkaya said, "Our unity is our unity. TÜRSAB cannot be divided".
