"TRAVEL AGENCIES ISTANBUL MEETING" WAS HELD

On Wednesday, January 31, 2024, a strong message of "UNITY" was given against the draft law that includes the division of TÜRSAB at the "Travel Agencies Istanbul Meeting", which we held with our travel agencies at Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center with intense participation.

Our travel agency representatives and members of the press attended the meeting where our President of Board of Directors Firuz Bağlıkaya, Vice Presidents Davut Günaydın and Hasan Eker, Board Members, Regional Representative Board and Specialization Presidents, Audit and Disciplinary Board Members and former Presidents of TÜRSAB took part.

In the meeting where the articles that will negatively affect the integrity of TÜRSAB, our travel agencies and tourism sector in the new draft law were explained in detail, Bağlıkaya drew attention to the importance of being a Union in terms of representation power for travel agencies and emphasized that those with large capital power wanted to be separated from the others. Stating that he believes that our President Mr. Erdoğan will see the mistake made, Bağlıkaya said, "Our unity is our unity, TÜRSAB cannot be divided".
