TÜRSAB AND KARABÜK UNIVERSITY HELD A COLLABORATION MEETING ON TRAINING IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM TRANSPORTATION
An online meeting was held on Friday, October 24th with Karabük University, which provides bus captain training, to improve service quality in the tourism sector, coordinated by TÜRSAB's Road Transport, Transportation, and Vehicle Rental Department.
Academics from Karabük University attended the meeting. Our Association was represented by Western Black Sea RRB Board Members Vahdettin Velioğlu and Hakan Somaklı; Cem Türkkan, Highway, Transportation, Transport and Vehicle Leasing Specialization President; and Ümit Aydın, TÜRSAB Academy Training and Development Manager.
The meeting focused on raising awareness among bus captain students about tourism and transportation. Specifically, the objectives were to instill a "passenger-to-guest" approach, enhance service awareness and representation, enhance crisis management skills in dynamic operations, enhance mastery of sectoral legislation and certification, and strengthen psychological resilience through stress management. The training provided within this scope aims to increase graduates' employment opportunities in the tourism sector. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was decided to hold introductory conferences for students throughout the year.
