TÜRSAB ATTENDED THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN TRAVEL AND TOURISM AGENCIES ASSOCIATIONS COOPERATION MEETING

Eastern Mediterranean Travel and Tourism Agencies Associations Cooperation Meeting was held online on Thursday, February 19, 2026. TÜRSAB President's Senior Advisor Yıldırım Taş attended the meeting on behalf of our Association.

During the program, current market developments and travel trends in the region were evaluated, and possible cooperation models for the revitalization of EMTTAAS were discussed, reviewing common goals. The meeting, which included consultation on the roadmap and follow-up process for the coming period, was attended by representatives of the European Travel Agents and Tour Operators Association (ECTAA) and managers of travel agency associations and unions from Bulgaria, Croatia, the Republic of Cyprus, Egypt, and Greece, as well as industry stakeholders.

It was emphasized that the meeting was of strategic importance in terms of strengthening regional tourism cooperation in the Mediterranean and Southeast Europe and creating a common platform for action. It was stated that the goal was to increase regional competitiveness through a cooperation-based approach.
