TÜRSAB BOARD OF DIRECTORS PRESIDENT FIRUZ BAĞLIKAYA PARTICIPATED IN THE AA “PHOTOS OF THE YEAR” VOTE

TÜRSAB Board of Directors President Firuz Bağlıkaya participated in Anadolu Agency's (AA) “Photos of the Year” poll, which features photos of events that marked 2025 and life as seen through the lens of AA.

In the competition sponsored by Lifebox, AJet, and ROKETSAN, Bağlıkaya reviewed a total of 112 photos across six categories, reflecting events that resonated in Türkiye and around the world in 2025, as captured by AA photojournalists and reporters.

Bağlıkaya selected Ali Jadallah's photo titled “Food distributed to Palestinians struggling with hunger in Gaza” in the “Gaza: Hunger” category; Cem Özdel's “Rastgeldi” in the ‘Portrait’ category; and Ali Jadallah's “The oppression continues” in the “News” category.

Bağlıkaya voted for Esra Bilgin's photo titled “Alperen” in the ‘Sports’ category, Murat Şengül's photo titled “Fire Storm” in the “Nature and Environment” category, and Deniz Kalaycı's photo titled “Mır mır mır” in the “Daily Life” category.

Stating that it was not easy to choose from among the valuable photos taken by Anadolu Agency reporters from Turkey and around the world, Bağlıkaya congratulated those who contributed to the photos and wished them success. Bağlıkaya said, “Anadolu Agency, which ranks among the world's leading news agencies with its experienced and knowledgeable team, has always been a source of pride for us.”
