TÜRSAB COMMITTEE HELD A MEETING TO SOLVE UNCONTROLLED PARKING PROBLEMS AROUND ISTANBUL AIRPORT

Our TÜRSAB committee held a meeting at the Arnavutköy Municipality on Thursday, August 14, 2025, to address the unconventional parking problems experienced around Istanbul Airport. The meeting, hosted by Arnavutköy Deputy Mayor Fatih Bozdemir, was represented by Cem Türkkan, Highway, Transportation, Transport and Vehicle Leasing Specialization President; Mert Mete, Deputy Head of the Department; and Erol Beşe, Director of Audit.

The meeting's main agenda focused on parking problems faced by travel agencies in and around Tayakadın. The impact of this issue on regional traffic and the tourism sector was discussed in detail. The need for collaboration between the Arnavutköy Municipality and our Association regarding parking areas was emphasized to resolve the issue.

In this context, it was decided to develop parking projects and conduct joint efforts to address the needs of the tourism sector to prevent parking problems and improve regional transportation.
