TÜRSAB COMMITTEE MEETS WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES IN ERDEK AS PART OF THE ERDEK-KAPIDAĞ PENINSULA INFORMATION TOUR

The Erdek-Kapıdağ Peninsula Information Tour was held on July 1–2, 2025, in collaboration with the Erdek District Governorate, Erdek Municipality, and Erdek Chamber of Commerce.

Representing the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB), Cultural Tourism Specialization President İlham Seyyale, Incoming Tourism Deputy Specialization President Ahmet Balyemezler, travel agency representatives, and tourism stakeholders from the region participated in the tour.

With the attendance of Erdek District Governor Hasan Göç, Mayor Burhan Karışık, and Erdek Chamber of Commerce President Hüseyin Uz, developments in the region’s tourism activities were evaluated. Ideas were exchanged on strengthening tourism infrastructure and increasing the visibility of Erdek and the Kapıdağ Peninsula.

The event began with visits to historical sites in İznik and continued with inspections across the Erdek-Kapıdağ Peninsula, where the region's cultural and natural richness was assessed in terms of tourism potential.

Our delegation presented commemorative gifts to District Governor Hasan Göç, Mayor Burhan Karışık, and Chamber President Hüseyin Uz in appreciation of their hospitality and contributions.
