TÜRSAB GAP RRB WORKSHOP HELD

GAP RRB Workshop was held at the Gaziantep City Council with the aim of strengthening travel agencies, making strategic plans to guide regional tourism, and increasing cooperation among industry stakeholders.

TÜRSAB Chief Advisor Mr. Soner Bacaksız, Audit Committee Member Ayşegül Özkeleş, GAP RRB President Mr. İ. Halil Kılınç, GAP RRB Board of Directors members, and travel agencies operating in the region hosted the workshop. Gaziantep Metropolitan President Ms. Fatma Şahin, Gaziantep Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Mr. Selçuk Korkmaz, and faculty members from academia.

The meeting, held with contributions from representatives of the public sector, private sector, and academia, addressed a shared vision and strategic priorities for the development of regional tourism. GAP BTK President Kılınç, who made assessments at the workshop, drew attention to the confusion of authority in the tourism sector, emphasizing that the authority and responsibilities defined by Law No. 1618 are clear and that this authority has been entrusted to TÜRSAB.
