TÜRSAB HEALTH TOURISM WORKSHOP WAS HELD AT OUR CENTRAL OFFICE

TÜRSAB Health Tourism Workshop was held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at TÜRSAB Central Office with the participation of many travel agency representatives.

Our Vice President Davut Günaydın, Board Members Engin Ceylan, Erol Türk, and Chief Advisor to the President Öner Uygun attended the workshop, which started with the opening speeches of our President Firuz Bağlıkaya and Board Member Elif Ural.

In his speech, Mr. Bağlıkaya said, “This workshop is important for showing that the public and private sectors are working hand in hand, we attach great importance to health tourism together with our travel agencies."

Ali Alperen Kaçar, Deputy Director General for International Service Trade at the Ministry of Trade; Dr. Eray Yaz, Deputy Director General for Health Services at the Ministry of Health; Mehmet Fatih Özmen, Group Head of Revenue Administration at the Ministry of Treasury and Finance; Behlül Ünver, General Manager of USHAŞ International Health Services Inc. Özgün Özenci, Health and Travel Services Branch Manager of the Ministry of Trade General Directorate of International Service Trade, Fatih Özer, Secretary General of the Service Exporters' Association (HİB), Üzeyir Işık, Deputy Secretary General of the Service Exporters' Association (HİB), and representatives of travel agencies operating in the field of health tourism held consultations on the agenda issues of the sector.

At the meeting, the planned amendments to the International Health Tourism and Tourist Health Regulation and the difficulties and solutions faced by the sector were discussed. Our travel agencies with health tourism authorization certificates had the opportunity to receive direct information from the authorities.
