TÜRSAB MIDDLE EAST TOURISM SPECIALIZATION PRESIDENCY MEETING HELD AS A HYBRID CONFERENCE AT TÜRSAB CENTRAL OFFICE

The TÜRSAB Middle East Tourism Specialization Presidency meeting was held as a hybrid meeting at TÜRSAB Central Office.

Attendees included TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın, Audit Board Member Oktay Karadeniz, Middle East Tourism Specialization President Metin Duyar, Vice President Hasan Yazıcı, TURSAV General Manager Çetin Gürcün, and members of the Middle East Tourism Specialization.

The meeting agenda included: The 2025 season was evaluated, including İGA Pass welcome services, vehicle tracking systems, and penalties imposed on travel agencies; participation in Middle East international fairs and KOSGEB support; daily tours and measures to be taken; Sapanca–Maşukiye–Bursa regional visits and meetings to be held in this context; undocumented (illegal) activities of foreign representative office employees; social media management; the begging problem in tourist areas and in front of shopping malls; and work permits for foreign nationals in tourist areas.
