TÜRSAB PARTICIPATED IN THE FRANKFURT INTERNATIONAL HEALTH TOURISM FAIR
TÜRSAB participated in the 3rd Frankfurt International Health Tourism Fair, held in Frankfurt, Germany, from October 24-25, 2025. Held at the Messe Frankfurt Congress Center, the fair brought together international stakeholders operating in the health tourism sector.
The event, which was represented by our Association, was attended by prominent industry figures such as Nagihan İlknur Akdevelioğlu, Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Frankfurt; Dr. Mehmet Altuğ, President of the DEİK Health Business Council; Cihat Alagöz, President of the ALZ Group Board of Directors; and Bonnie Eve Zdraveva, Representative of the Global Healthcare Accreditation (GHA).
TÜRSAB provided special booth support to travel agencies operating in the health tourism sector at the fair, encouraging our members to promote themselves internationally and establish new business connections. Thanks to B2B bilateral business meetings, our travel agencies had the opportunity to meet with foreign industry representatives and develop new partnerships.
In his opening remarks, Ural emphasized Turkey's strong position in health tourism, saying, “Health tourism is a field that requires expertise, trust, and high service standards. As TÜRSAB, we continue our efforts to make our members operating in this field more visible, reliable, and competitive in the international arena. These types of fairs, held in countries with high travel potential like Germany, are of great importance both for promoting our country's healthcare infrastructure and forging new partnerships.”
The sessions, panels, and opening ceremonies held as part of the fair attracted considerable attention. The event aims to significantly contribute to Turkey's international visibility in the health tourism sector.
