TÜRSAB PARTICIPATED IN THE ISTANBUL TOURISM WEEK EVENTS
Organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Tourism Department, the Istanbul Tourism Week events, taking place from April 15–22, 2026, bring together the city’s historical, cultural, and living values across a wide spectrum. The opening of the program, designed around the themes of urban memory and cultural interaction, was held concurrently with the launch of the BUSFORUS Sultanahmet–Golden Horn Line.
The program, which brought together sector stakeholders, included Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Nuri Aslan, Eyüpsultan Mayor Mithat Bülent Özmen, Istanbul Tourism Association (İRO) Board Chairman Selçuk Eracun, and the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality delegation.
Representing TÜRSAB, Board Members Gürkan Özcan and Tülay Salihoğlu, and Audit Committee Member Yüksel Türemez, Istanbul Fatih RRB President Okan Cem Başusta, Istanbul Boğaziçi RRB President Aşkın Kördal, Cultural Tourism Specialist President Hakan Çokgezen, Gastronomy Tourism Specialist President Tümay İmamoğlu, and TURSAV Board of Directors President Faruk Pekin.
The program, which involved testing the new route via the BUSFORUS vehicle departing from Sultanahmet Square, concluded with opening remarks at Artİstanbul Feshane.
