TÜRSAB’S 26TH TERM SCHOOL TOURS COMMITTEE HELD ITS FIRST MEETING

The first meeting of the School Tours Committee, which will operate under TÜRSAB’s Cultural Tourism Specialization Department, was held under the coordination of Committee President Ferhat Günbay.

The meeting was attended by Board of Directors Vice President Davut Günaydın,  Cultural Tourism Specialization Department President Hakan Çokgezen, and representatives of travel agencies operating in the school tours sector.

During the meeting, the challenges faced by travel agencies organizing school tours during their operations and the needs of the sector were discussed. Following the evaluations, it was decided to identify priority issues, create an agenda of approximately ten items, and prepare solution-oriented action plans based on these priorities.

Discussions were held regarding the planning of meetings with relevant public institutions, the establishment of a working group composed of sector representatives, the organization of a workshop focused on school tours, and the preparation of a handbook to guide the sector.
