UZBEKISTAN DELEGATION VISITS TÜRSAB CENTRAL OFFICE
An official delegation from the Ferghana Region of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited TÜRSAB Headquarters on Wednesday, November 5th.
Central Office. During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation in the tourism sector between the two countries were discussed, including an assessment of the current situation and potential joint efforts to improve tourism education in the Ferghana Region.
The meeting was attended by our Vice President of the Board of Directors, Davut Günaydın, Director of Specialization Directorates, Emin Bahçıvan, and Director of the Academy, Ümit Aydın. The Uzbek delegation was chaired by Deputy Governor of the Ferghana Region Nuriddin Mamajonov and First Director of the Ministry of Tourism of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Temirov.
During the meeting, Deputy Governor Mr. Mamajonov stated that Turkiye has an exemplary success story in global tourism, adding that the shared historical and cultural ties between the two countries make this cooperation even more meaningful. They emphasized their desire to benefit from Turkey's tourism expertise through TÜRSAB and their expectation of support, particularly in tourism training.
The meeting also highlighted the Ferghana Region's nature and culture as a tourism destination. It was decided to organize a promotional trip to Ferghana for TÜRSAB members in the near future to better promote the region to Turkish travel agencies.
Our Vice President, Davut Günaydın, stated that the contacts established in the tourism sector between the two countries will strengthen mutual understanding and friendship, and that this visit is an important step towards future collaboration.
