WE WELCOMED THE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF TRCN, MINISTER OF TOURISM, CULTURE, YOUTH AND ENVIRONMENT, MR. FIKRI ATAOĞLU AND THE ACCOMPANYING TRCN DELEGATION AT OUR TÜRSAB CENTRAL OFFICE

On Wednesday, November 27, 2024, we hosted TRNC Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Mr. Fikri Ataoğlu and the accompanying TRNC delegation at TÜRSAB Central Office.

Our Vice President of the Board of Directors Davut Günaydın, Istanbul Fatih Regional Representation Board President Gürkan Özcan, Istanbul Bosphorus Regional Representation Board President Yüksel Türemez, Foreign Tourism Specialization President Kemal Ertem, Information Technologies Media and Communication Group President Mesut Kanat, Media and Communication Director Serkan Tahmaz, Specialization Presidencies Director Ceylan Yiğiterhan, Private Secretary Kayhan Akyüz and the accompanying TÜRSAB delegation attended the meeting on behalf of our association.

The TRNC delegation consisted of TRNC Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, TRNC Consul General Fatma Demirel, Ministry Director Mehmet Yalçın, Ministry Press Advisor Onur Ersoy, TRNC Istanbul Tourism Coordinator Özge Palamutçu, KITSAB Vice President Oğuz Akançay, KITSAB Secretary General Gökalp Alpler, KITSAB Treasurer Artunç Gürkut, KITSAB Board Members Çağdaş Uçaner and Fethi Boğaç Özboğaç.

During the meeting, the current situation in the tourism movement between Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was evaluated and solutions were discussed to increase the number of domestic and foreign tourists going to the island.
