A MEETING WAS HELD BETWEEN THE DELEGATIONS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF TURKISH TRAVEL AGENCIES (TÜRSAB) AND THE INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS AND CONVENTION ASSOCIATION (ICCA)

On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, a productive meeting was held between the Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB) and the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) delegations.

Representing TÜRSAB at the meeting were our Vice Chairman of the Board, Hasan Eker, and our Board Member, Tülay Salihoğlu. Representing ICCA were ICCA CEO Dr. Senthil Gopinath and ICCA Senior Regional Director for Europe, Efi Koudeli.

In the meeting, strategic steps to strengthen Turkey's position in international MICE and congress tourism, international training and certification opportunities for our travel agencies, the transfer of Ministry supports to the sector, and joint projects to increase B2B collaborations were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, a cooperation protocol was signed to support future joint efforts.
