AN INFORMATION SESSION ON INCENTIVES FOR TRADE SHOWS AND CONVENTION TOURISM AND THE MICE SPECIALIZATION CERTIFICATE WAS HELD
The Information Session on Incentives for Trade Shows and Convention Tourism and the MICE Specialization Certificate was held on Thursday, September 3, 2026, with the participation of TÜRSAB Board of Directors Vice Chair Hasan Eker, Board Member Gürkan Özcan, Disciplinary Committee Chair İbrahim Tanrıverdi, Istanbul Fatih Regional Representative Board Chair Okan Cem Başusta, MICE Tourism Expert Chair Gürkan Akün, TÜRSAB Chief Legal Counsel İlker Ünsever, and representatives of travel agencies operating in the MICE tourism sector.
Following the opening remarks by Gürkan Akün, our Chair of the MICE Tourism Expert Committee, Hasan Eker, our Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, provided information on incentives and support measures in the fields of trade shows and conference tourism, application processes, and related practices, as well as the MICE Specialization Certificate, which certifies the expertise of travel agencies operating in the MICE sector.
During the question-and-answer session of the meeting, our Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hasan Eker; our Chair of the MICE Tourism Expert Committee, Gürkan Akün; and our Chief Legal Counsel, İlker Ünsever, answered questions from our members and discussed topics related to incentives, application processes, and the MICE Specialization Certificate.
At the end of the meeting, certificates were presented to our members who qualified for the MICE Specialization Certificate. We congratulate all members who qualified for the certificate and wish them success in their work in the MICE sector.
