THE 5TH BURSA TOURISM SUMMIT HAS BEGUN
The 5th Bursa Tourism Summit kicked off with an opening ceremony held at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Center.
During the program, Bursa Deputy Governor Rıza Gençoğlu, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Numan Çakır, TÜRSAB Board of Directors Chairman Firuz Bağlıkaya, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry President İbrahim Burkay, and our Vice President Hasan Eker delivered opening remarks.
In the presentation he gave following his speech, Hasan Eker shared his assessments regarding the scope and objectives of the summit with the participants.
Our TÜRSAB Board of Directors Vice Chair, Davut Günaydın, and our TÜRSAB delegation also participated in the program on the first day of the summit, which brought together stakeholders in the tourism sector.
In his opening remarks at the summit, our Board of Directors Chairman, Firuz Bağlıkaya, emphasized that local values and travel agencies will play a decisive role in the future of Turkish tourism. “Travel agencies serve as the bridge between local potential and the tourism economy,” said Bağlıkaya. “It is not possible to build a strong local tourism economy without strong travel agencies.”
