THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE M.I.C.E. TOURISM EXPERT COMMITTEE WAS HELD

The monthly meeting of the M.I.C.E. Tourism Expert Committee was held in a hybrid format on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the TÜRSAB Headquarters, coordinated by our Expert Committee Chair, Gürkan Akün, with the participation of the committee’s vice chairs and members.

During the meeting, while assessing current industry developments related to M.I.C.E. tourism, the regulatory process targeting foreign digital platforms and the importance of safeguarding fair competition were discussed. While members were briefed on the application criteria and procedures for the TÜRSAB M.I.C.E. Expertise Certificate—for which the application process has begun—discussions also covered incentives from the Ministry of Trade, sector-specific collaborations, and plans for activities and events to be held in the coming period.

During the meeting, information was provided on the activities of the TURSAV Foundation and Korugöl Nature Park. The opportunities offered by Korugöl Nature Park for corporate events, meetings, and team-building activities were shared with the members, and opportunities for collaboration in this area were also discussed.
