THY TRAVEL AGENCY SUPPORT PROCESSES WEBINAR HELD IN COLLABORATION WITH TÜRSAB

On June 25, 2026, a webinar was organized under the coordination of TÜRSAB by Turkish Airlines to provide information on travel agency support processes.

The webinar, held to contribute to the operational processes of our travel agencies, was attended by Numan Olcar, Chief Advisor to the President and President of the Airline, Ticketing, and IATA Executive Committee, and Aziz Ciğa, Member of the Airline, Ticketing, and IATA Executive Committee, representing our Association.

During the webinar,  TÜRSAB representatives directly conveyed the questions, requests, and suggestions submitted by our members to Turkish Airlines officials, while also providing assessments regarding the sector’s needs and expectations. The meeting, moderated by Okan Öksüz, Director of Domestic Travel Agencies at the Turkish Airlines Sales Directorate, was also attended by Münir Beyazal, Director of Solutions and Support at the Revenue Management Directorate.

During the webinar, the Solutions and Support Department delivered a comprehensive presentation on the operation of agency support processes; questions from our travel agencies were answered in detail; and issues encountered in practice, along with proposed solutions, were mutually evaluated and discussed.

As TÜRSAB, we place great importance on establishing effective communication channels between our members and service provider institutions, as well as on expanding platforms where issues can be evaluated directly with the relevant parties. We believe that this webinar, organized in line with this objective, has contributed to our members’ operational processes and established an important communication platform for our sector.

We welcome this valuable initiative, which contributes to strengthening Turkish Airlines’ information and support processes for our travel agencies; we hope that similar events, which will contribute to the development of our sector, the improvement of our members’ operational processes, and the strengthening of inter-organizational cooperation, will continue to increase.
