TRNC/KITSAB EASTERN BLACK SEA REGION INFORMATION TRIP STARTED WITH THE PROMOTION OF OUR CITY, TRABZON

The KKTC/KITSAB Eastern Black Sea Region Information Trip, organized to strengthen tourism ties between the TRNC and the Eastern Black Sea region and to develop mutual cooperation opportunities, began with the promotion of our city, Trabzon. As part of the event, the official delegation from the TRNC and travel agencies that are members of the Turkish Cypriot Travel Agencies Association (KITSAB) conducted field visits to examine the region's historical and cultural values after a local breakfast organized by the Akçaabat Sera Lake. In this context, the guests were introduced to and toured the Hagia Sophia Mosque and Historical Site, Atatürk Mansion, Botanical Park, and Boztepe Viewing Hill.

After the completion of the field program, a dinner event was organized at an establishment located along the coastal strip. The event was attended by the Consul General of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in Trabzon, Ms. Fatma Demirel, the President of KITSAB, Mr. Oğuz Akançay, the Vice President of KITSAB, Mr. Doğan Yalkı, the Board Member of TÜRSAB, Mr. İbrahim Değermenci, the President of the Eastern Black Sea RRB of TÜRSAB, Mr. Mehmet Ali Tuna, and our RRB Board Members. The organization, which evaluates the institutional contacts and regional cooperation opportunities between the tourism delegations of the two countries, will continue with inspection tours and B2B events focused on the prominent historical and touristic centers of Trabzon and Rize provinces.
