TÜRSAB REPRESENTED OUR SECTOR AT THE 59TH PAPGJC MEETING

On September 21-22, the 59th PAPGJC (Passenger Agency Program Global Joint Council) Meeting was held at the IATA headquarters in Madrid. Our Principal Consultant, Numan Olcar, represented our Union at the meeting as part of the UFTAA delegation.

At the meeting, which is one of the most important joint advisory platforms where airlines and travel agencies evaluate the operation of the IATA Agency Program on a global level, the views, issues, and expectations of travel agencies in our country were brought to the international agenda. Contributions were made to the evaluation and efforts aimed at protecting the rights and interests of our sector.

As part of the meeting, UFTAA President Sunil Kumar and Mariegel Monotok, President of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association, were also brought together to exchange views on the international agenda of the sector.

As TÜRSAB, we continue to actively participate in international decision-making and advisory mechanisms, and to enhance the voice and influence of the Turkish travel sector on global platforms.
