TÜRSAB VISITED THE ISTANBUL PROVINCIAL DIRECTORATE OF THE EMPLOYMENT AND LABOR OFFICE

TÜRSAB President’s Advisor Oya Ebru Küçükel visited the Istanbul Provincial Director of the Employment and Labor Office, Uğur Oto, at his office.

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation regarding the tourism sector’s employment needs, the training of a qualified workforce, and vocational training programs were discussed within the scope of the “Skills Development Project to Increase Employability.” During the meeting, a positive exchange of views took place regarding the implementation of training programs in areas where our sector has needs, and an agreement was reached to launch these training initiatives. This project is being carried out in collaboration with İŞKUR, the United Nations Development Program(UNDP), the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye, and the Turkish Red Crescent.

We will continue to steadfastly pursue our collaborations aimed at strengthening employment in the tourism sector and increasing the pool of qualified human resources.
