TÜRSAB’S HEALTH TOURISM EXPERT COMMITTEE MET WITH THE OHSAD DELEGATION

Şehnaz Atak Askeroğlu, Chair of the TÜRSAB Health Tourism Expert Committee, and Gurbet Altay, Vice Chair of the Expert Committee, met with Dr. Reşat Bahat, Chair of the OHSAD Board of Directors, and Ömer Kurnaz, Chair of the OHSAD Institute’s Health Committee.

During the meeting, participants assessed the current state of Turkey’s medical tourism sector and discussed key areas for the sector’s development, as well as initiatives aimed at enhancing Turkey’s competitiveness in international medical tourism.

During the meeting, participants also exchanged views on potential joint initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between healthcare institutions and travel agencies, enhancing coordination among industry stakeholders, and sustainably developing Turkey’s strong position in health tourism.
