ANNOUNCEMENT ON ACCOMMODATION EXPENSES FOR THE 26TH TÜRSAB ORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Dear Members,

By the decision of our Board of Directors dated August 27, 2025, the first meeting of our Association's 26th Ordinary General Assembly will be held on November 15-16, 2025, at the Safir Hall of the WOW Istanbul Hotel Convention Center, located at No: 15-17-19 Atatürk Airport Road, Yeşilköy Neighborhood, Bakırköy District, Istanbul Province, at 10:00 AM. If a quorum is not reached at the first meeting, the second meeting will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the same address at 9:00 AM. Elections will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

In accordance with the decision of our Board of Directors; Accommodation expenses for members attending the 26th Ordinary General Assembly from outside Istanbul will be covered, provided they attend the proceedings on the first day of the General Assembly and the elections on the second day.

• A shuttle service will be organized within Istanbul to transport members in Istanbul to the General Assembly location.
• To utilize the quotas provided by our Association, accommodation requests will be submitted to the Regional Representative Boards to which the travel agencies are affiliated.
• If requests exceed the allocated quota, our participating travel agency will invoice TÜRSAB for the total of 8,000 TL, excluding VAT, for the accommodation expenses related to their own accommodation reservations, with the required documentation.
• If members attending the 26th Ordinary General Assembly by bus travel together in a vehicle, their bus expenses for travel to the General Assembly and their return to their city will be covered from the General Assembly budget, provided that the amount does not exceed the amount incurred if they traveled with tickets. If they do not travel as a group, their bus tickets will be covered from the General Assembly budget. It has been decided that the Association will not cover member expenses related to air travel due to the high cost of air travel and the inequality it creates among members.

Accordingly, the following procedure will be applied for payments related to accommodation expenses:

• The accommodation expense to be paid must be invoiced to our Association (a reflection invoice) issued by the member travel agency, accompanied by copies of invoices showing the accommodation expenses and the receipt of the services.
• If a member has a membership dues debt, the relevant amount will be offset against the aforementioned invoice, and any remaining balance will be paid as described above. If there is no outstanding debt, the invoice amount will be paid as described above.
