ANNOUNCEMENT ON ROUTES TO BE CLOSED TO VEHICLE TRAFFIC AS PART OF THE 4TH TOUR OF ISTANBUL INTERNATIONAL ROAD CYCLING RACE

Dear Members,

In a letter sent to our Association by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism of the Governor’s Office of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey;

It has been announced that the “4th Tour of Istanbul” (UCI Europe Tour 2.1) International Road Cycling Race will take place in Istanbul from September 3 to 6, 2026, with the participation of 16 professional teams from 12 countries.

It has been stated that certain routes will be closed to vehicle traffic during the event in question as part of the race. To ensure there are no disruptions to transportation services—particularly airport and hotel transfers—it is important that our travel agencies, tourist transfer companies, and passenger transport operators plan alternative routes by taking into account the necessary information regarding traffic regulations.

The routes that will be closed to vehicle traffic, along with the dates and times, are listed below.

STAGE 1: SILIVRI–ÇATALCA (SEPTEMBER 3, 2026 – THURSDAY)
