ANNOUNCEMENT ON SÜMELA MONASTERY RELIGIOUS CEREMONY

Dear Members,
As in previous years, a religious service will be held at the Sumela Monastery in the Altındere Valley of Trabzon Maçka district on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 between 08.00 - 13.30 in the courtyard of the monastery.
During the event, local and foreign visitors will not be allowed to enter the monastery, and only guests who will attend the service and have the necessary permits will be allowed to enter the monastery between these hours.
The monastery will be open to all local and foreign visitors between 13.30 - 18.30 after the service.
