ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE COLLECTION OF REQUESTS FOR THE TOURISTIC DIYARBAKIR EXPRESS FOR TRAVEL AGENCIES

Dear Members,

Based on the letter conveyed by TCDD to our Association:

In the 2025 season, the Touristic Diyarbakır Express train will operate 8 trips, with 4 in the Ankara-Diyarbakır direction and 4 in the Diyarbakır-Ankara direction. The train will make a touristic stop of 180 minutes in Malatya on the Ankara-Diyarbakır route and 240 minutes in Yolçatı (Elazığ) on the Diyarbakır-Ankara route.

The Touristic Diyarbakır Express consists of 8 sleeping cars and 1 dining car. Each sleeping car has 10 compartments, with each compartment accommodating 2 beds, making the total capacity of the train 160 passengers.

Train fares per route, inclusive of VAT, are as follows:
Ankara-Diyarbakır direction: 130.000 TL  
Diyarbakır-Ankara direction: 120.000 TL  

For this season, 6 out of 8 cars will be allocated to travel agencies approved by TÜRSAB, and the remaining 2 cars will be available for individual sales.

A minimum of 1 car will be allocated to each travel agency per trip, with additional allocations possible for multiple train trips based on demand.

The allocation conditions and travel agency evaluation process will consider the results of passenger satisfaction surveys from previous seasons and the inspection reports by TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş.

If requests exceed capacity for the same date and direction, a drawing will be held among the travel agencies.

During the allocation application, travel agencies must specify the date, direction, and number of cars requested in their email to turistik@tcddtasimacilik.gov.tr. Agencies granted allocations will be informed of the number of cars they have been allocated and their payment plan.

- Request Collection               : November 1-30, 2024  
- Request Evaluation              : December 2-5, 2024  
- Allocation Results                : December 6, 2024  
- Pre-payment Dates               : December 9-20, 2024  
- Withdrawal Deadline (latest): January 31, 2025  

Application requirements are detailed in the specifications document. Travel agencies wishing to apply must send the signed and stamped specification along with the requested date, direction, and number of cars to turistik@tcddtasimacilik.gov.tr.
