ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE DEPARTURE FEE PAYMENTS FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

Dear Members,  

As per the "General Notification on International Departure Fee Implementation" published in the Official Gazette dated December 28, 2024, issue no. 32766, the practice of paying the departure fee with a stamp has been discontinued as of January 1, 2025.

To prevent any inconvenience for Turkish citizens traveling abroad, the exit fee can now be paid through the following methods:  

- Tax Office Directorates  
- PTT Offices  
- Branches, internet, and mobile banking channels of contracted banks  
- The Digital Tax Office on the https://www.gib.gov.tr website  
- The GİB Mobile Application  
- Digital Tax Office Payment Points (Kiosks) available at certain border crossings  

Bulk Payment Convenience

Through the Digital Tax Office application, the Revenue Administration allows for bulk payment of exit fees for up to 100 individuals in one transaction. Detailed information on the use of bulk payment screens can be accessed by reviewing the user guide.
