ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE EXTENSION OF VISITING HOURS OF MUSEUMS AND ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES DURING THE TOURISM SEASON AND NIGHT MUSEOLOGY

Dear Members,

According to the letter sent to our Association by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Investments and Enterprises;

Considering the visitor density and tourism potential of the museums and archaeological sites under the General Directorate of Investments and Enterprises of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the visiting hours of the museums and archaeological sites during the tourism season have been rearranged by the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums so that some of them will be open at night. In this context, to provide longer service to local and foreign visitors in museums and archaeological sites, the visiting hours of the museums and archaeological sites in the attached lists with high tourism potential and visitor density have been extended between April 1 - October 1, 2025, and the lists showing the visiting hours are attached.
