ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE HATEFUL ATTACK ON A TOURIST BUS IN DIDIM

We condemn in the strongest terms the attack carried out on June 10, 2025, on a tourist bus carrying foreign tourists in the Didim district of Aydın.

The stone-throwing attack on the bus carrying tourists constitutes an unacceptable threat to Turkish tourism, our hospitality, and the constitutional right to freedom of travel. We condemn this unlawful act, which endangers the lives of tourism sector workers and foreign tourists, and as TÜRSAB, we wish to emphasize that we stand against all forms of violence to ensure that tourism can continue in a peaceful and secure environment.

We would like to thank the Ministry of Interior, the Aydın Provincial Gendarmerie Command, the Didim District Gendarmerie Command, and our law enforcement agencies for their swift action in apprehending the attackers immediately after the incident. We extend our condolences to our guests who were subjected to this despicable attack and hope that such incidents will not occur again.
