ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE INFORMATION OFFICER EXAM

Dear Candidate,

The technical details and schedule for the Information Officer Exam are provided below for your information. Please review the following points carefully to avoid any issues on exam day.

1. Exam Access and Technical Information

• Exam Date: Saturday, July 18, 2026
• Start Time: 10:30 a.m. (We recommend logging in at least 15 minutes before the exam starts)
• Access URL: https://akademi.tursab.org.tr
• Login Information: You must log in using the email address and password you used when applying for the exam.
• If you have forgotten your password, you can use the “Forgot your password?” option on the login screen.
• Starting the Exam: The exam room will automatically become active when the exam time arrives. If it does not open, please refresh the page (F5).

2. Exam Content and Evaluation (Phase 1)

• Scope: 50 questions, 60-minute time limit.
• Scoring: Each question is worth 2 points. You must score at least 70 points to pass.
• Result:
• Those who score 70 points or higher are eligible to receive the “Information Clerk Certificate of Achievement,” which is valid only at Group C agencies.
• Additionally, those who achieve this score are eligible to proceed to the Foreign Language Exam stage required for Group A and B agencies.

3. Foreign Language Exam Process (Stage 2)

For candidates who score 70 or higher on the Tourism Knowledge exam, the process will proceed as follows:

• Written Exam: Saturday, July 25, 2026 | Time: 10:30 a.m.
• The exam link will be provided next week by TÜRSAB Academy and Dialogue Language Schools.
• The written exam is graded on a scale of 50 points. Candidates who score at least 20 points will qualify for the oral exam.
• Oral Exam: August 1–2, 2026 (Saturday–Sunday)
• Your oral exam date and time will be determined by Dialogue Language Schools; you can check this information via the TÜRSAB Academy portal using your Turkish ID number (TCKN) via the link sent to you by email and SMS.
• Please check your email inbox (including Spam/Junk folders) between July 27–31, 2026.

Passing Criteria: Candidates whose combined written and oral exam scores total 70 or higher are eligible to receive a “Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate.”

4. Certification

Certificates for successful candidates will be uploaded to https://akademi.tursab.org.tr the week following the exams. You can log in to the system to download your digital certificate with a QR code. Physical certificates will not be printed.

5. Make-up Exam and Refund Policy (Important)

No make-up exams are administered for any stage of the exam process (Tourism Knowledge, Foreign Language Written or Oral). In the event of an inability to take the exam due to force majeure (official report, etc.), the refund procedure is as follows:

• Candidates Unable to Take the Tourism Knowledge Exam: Candidates who are unable to take the first exam on July 18, 2026, due to force majeure must submit documentation proving the force majeure (medical report, etc.) to akademi@tursab.org.tr no later than 2 business days following the exam. A fee refund will be issued if the reason is deemed valid.
• Candidates Unable to Take the Foreign Language Exams (IMPORTANT): No fee refund will be issued to candidates who took the Tourism Knowledge Exam but did not take the Foreign Language exams (written or oral), even if they had a valid excuse.
• Exception (Foreign Language Exam Candidates Only): Candidates who passed the Tourism Knowledge exam in previous terms and registered only for the Foreign Language exam this term may receive a fee refund provided they document the force majeure reasons for their inability to take the Foreign Language Written Exam within 2 business days. No refund will be issued to candidates who took the Foreign Language Written Exam but did not take the Foreign Language Oral Exam.

Appeals: Appeals regarding exam results must be submitted to TÜRSAB Academy via email within 10 business days following the announcement of the results.
