ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE INFORMATION OFFICER EXAM
Dear Candidate,
For the Information Officer (Tourism Knowledge) Online Exam, which will begin at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2025, you must log in to the system at least 15 minutes before the exam start time via https://akademi.tursab.org.tr/. The username and password you will use to log in are the email address and password you used during the application process. If you cannot remember your password, you can create a new one by clicking on the “Forgot your password?” link.
When the exam time arrives, the exam room will open automatically. If it does not open, you will need to refresh the page.
The exam consists of 50 questions and lasts 60 minutes. Each question is worth 2 points, and if you score 70 points or above at the end of the exam, you will receive an “Information Officer Success Certificate” that can only be used at Type C agencies, and you will be eligible to take the foreign language exam to receive the “Information Officer Foreign Language Success Certificate” that can be used at Type A agencies.
The foreign language exam consists of two steps. The first step, the Foreign Language Written Exam, will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The exam link will be sent to you next week by both TÜRSAB Academy and Dialogue Language Schools. The written exam is scored out of 50 points.
Candidates who score 20 points or above on the written exam will be eligible to take the oral exam, which is the second step of the foreign language exam. The oral exam will be held throughout the day on Saturday, August 16, and Sunday, August 17, 2025. Dialogue Language Schools will send you an email informing you of the date and time of your exam. At the same time, it will be available for inquiry on the TÜRSAB Academy website with your TCKN information. We kindly request that you check your email inbox and spam folder between August 11 and 15, 2025. The oral exam will be evaluated out of 50 points.
If your total score from the written and oral exams is 70 or above, the Foreign Language Proficiency Certificate will be uploaded to https://akademi.tursab.org.tr/ the week following the exam. You can download the QR code-enabled certificate to your computer or mobile phone by logging in with the username and password you used to take the exam. No physical certificate will be issued.
There will be no make-up exams for the tourism knowledge exam, foreign language written exam, or oral exam. If you are unable to attend the tourism knowledge exam due to compelling reasons, you must submit proof of this situation to us via akademi@tursab.org.tr within two business days after the exam. If deemed appropriate, the exam fee will be refunded. The refund due to force majeure is only valid for the Tourism Knowledge Exam, and no refund will be made if you do not take the foreign language written and oral exams.
(Exception: Candidates who already possess an Information Officer Success Certificate and only take the foreign language exam must submit documentation proving their inability to attend the foreign language written exam due to force majeure within two business days of the exam to akademi@tursab.org.tr.)
