ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE INFORMATION OFFICER EXAM

Dear Members,
The technical details and timetable for the Information Officer Exam are provided below for your information. To avoid any problems on exam day, we kindly ask you to carefully review the following items.
1. Exam Login and Technical Information
- Exam Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
- Start Time: 10:30 AM (We recommend logging in at least 15 minutes beforehand)
- Login Address: https://akademi.tursab.org.tr
- Login Information: You must log in to the system with the email address and password used during the exam application.
- If you have forgotten your password, you can use the "Forgot your password?" step on the login screen.
- Start Exam: The exam room will automatically activate when the exam time arrives. If it doesn't, refresh the page (F5).
2. Exam Content and Evaluation (Stage 1)
- Scope: 50 questions, 60 minutes.
- Scoring: Each question is worth 2 points. A minimum score of 70 is required to pass.
- Result:
- Those who score 70 or higher are eligible to receive the "Information Officer Certificate of Achievement," which is only valid for Group C travel agencies.
- Those who achieve this score also qualify to proceed to the Foreign Language Exam, which is required for Group A and B travel agencies.
3. Foreign Language Exam Process (Stage 2)
The process for candidates who score 70 or higher on the Tourism Knowledge Exam will be as follows:
- Written Exam: Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 10:30 AM
- The exam link will be shared by TÜRSAB Academy and Dialogue Language Schools next week.
- The written exam is graded out of 50 points. Those who score at least 20 points are eligible to participate in the oral exam.
- Oral Exam: December 20-21, 2025 (Saturday - Sunday)
- Your oral exam date and time will be determined by Dialogue Language Schools. You can check your TR ID number via the TÜRSAB Academy panel via a link sent to you via email or SMS.
- Please check your email (including Spam/Junk) between December 15-19.
Success Criteria: Candidates who achieve a combined written and oral exam score of 70 or higher are eligible to receive a "Foreign Language Achievement Certificate."
4. Certification
Successful candidates' documents will be uploaded to https://akademi.tursab.org.tr the week following the exam. You can download your digital certificate with a QR code by logging into the system. Physical documents will not be printed.
5. Make-up and Refund Policy (Important)
There are no make-up exams for any stage of the exam process (Tourism Knowledge, Foreign Language Written or Oral). In the event of a force majeure (official report, etc.), the refund procedure is as follows:
- Tourism Knowledge Exam Candidates: Candidates who cannot take the first exam on December 6th due to force majeure must submit their documentation to akademi@tursab.org.tr within two business days of the exam. A refund will be provided if the excuse is deemed acceptable.
- Foreign Language Exam Candidates (IMPORTANT): Candidates who have taken the Tourism Knowledge exam but are unable to take/return to the Foreign Language exams (Written or Oral), even if they have an excuse, will not receive a refund.
- Exception (Foreign Language Exam Candidates Only): Candidates who have passed the Tourism Knowledge exam in previous semesters and are only registered for the Foreign Language exam this semester can receive a refund provided they document the force majeure for not taking the Foreign Language Written Exam within two business days. Candidates who take the Foreign Language Written Exam but do not take the Foreign Language Oral Exam will not receive a refund.
Objections: Objections to exam results must be submitted to TÜRSAB Academy via email within 10 business days of the results being announced.
