ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE LAWSUIT FILED BY OUR UNION CONCERNING THE INCREASE IN ROUTE USE PERMIT FEES APPLIED BY THE IBB COUNCIL

Dear Members,

Our Union has filed a lawsuit requesting a stay of execution regarding the decision of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council, adopted with decision number 1506 dated 11.12.2025, to increase the "Tourism Service Transportation Route Use Permit Fee" specified in article 7.7 and the "Free Service Transportation (Social Events Group Service) Route Use Permit Fee" specified in article 7.9 of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality 2026 Fee Schedule by 1528.67%, from 614.00 TL to 10,000.00 TL. An annulment lawsuit has been filed with the 10th Administrative Court under case number 2025/2466.

Members who wish to appeal the decision have the right to intervene in the lawsuit. A sample intervention petition is attached for the benefit of members who wish to intervene.
