ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE NEW NOTICE REGARDING THE NEW CIRCULAR ON THE RENTING OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS FOR TOURISM PURPOSES ISSUED BY THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND TOURISM

Dear Members,

According to the Circular sent to our Association by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Investments and Enterprises;

Law No. 2634 on Tourism Incentives stipulates that accommodation facilities must obtain a tourism management certificate or a simple accommodation tourism management certificate from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in order to operate. 

Law No. 7464 on the Renting of Houses for Tourism Purposes and Amendments to Certain Laws also introduced the obligation to obtain a permit from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for the renting of houses for tourism purposes to domestic or foreign persons for one hundred days or less than one hundred days at a time.
