ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE ONLINE RESERVATION AND PAYMENT SYSTEM TO BE IMPLEMENTED AT THE ENTRANCES OF MERYEMANA NATURE PARK

Dear Members,

With the update made;

In the announcement made by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye;

A Free Pass System focused on HGS or license plate reading systems has been established at the entrances to nature parks.

One of the entrance units in this area has been activated as of May 29, 2025, for foreign visitors to either pay by credit card upon entry and then proceed through the gate or make a pre-payment through the online reservation system prior to the entry date by entering information about the vehicle, license plate, company, and number of visitors in the vehicle.

Additionally, to prevent potential issues arising from incomplete notifications due to high traffic, as part of efforts to monitor the number of individuals in coordination with the Ministry of Infrastructure, a copy of the passenger list must be submitted to the authorized personnel at the entrance gate.

Penalties will be imposed in accordance with the National Parks Law No. 2873 and its regulations, as well as the Meryemana Nature Park Foreign Entry Rules and Principles attached, for any incomplete or incorrect reports.

As of August 1, 2025, in accordance with the agreement between PTT and the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, a prepaid system will be implemented, and credit cards will not be accepted.  

In order to prevent travel agencies and visitors from being inconvenienced, it has been announced that relevant tour companies will be able to enter the Meryemana Nature Park after making their reservations and payments online via the national parks link on the https://hgsmusteri.ptt.gov.tr/ website prior to entering the area.
