ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION TO BE HELD UNDER THE COORDINATION OF THE CULTURAL TOURISM SPECIALIZATION PRESIDENCY AS PART OF THE 4TH TÜRSAB TOURISM CONGRESS
Dear Members,
Under the motto “Education, Communication, and Solidarity,” a photo submission process is now open to our members for the photography exhibition to be held under the coordination of the Cultural Tourism Specialization Presidency as part of the TÜRSAB Tourism Congress, which will take place for the fourth time this year.
This exhibition, which will take place during the congress held at the Antalya Nirvana Cosmopolitan Lara Hotel from April 6–8, 2026, aims to bring together works that depict the relationship between the city and its people through the eyes of a traveler.
“A traveler does not settle in a city; they merely lean on its shoulder for a brief moment before continuing on their way.” Composed of photographs that are unpretentious, simple yet profound, the narrative language of this exhibition is also inspired by this perspective.
We kindly request that photographs meeting the theme and technical criteria listed below be submitted to us along with the consent form provided in the attachment.
1. Subject: People on the Shoulders of Cities
• Main Theme: “City, Human, and the Fine Line Between Them”
• Submitted photographs must be directly related to the specified theme and reflect moments of the city from the perspective of the traveling individual or traveler.
2. Technical Specifications
• Format: JPEG or TIFF
• Minimum Resolution: Longest side at least 4000 pixels / Minimum 2 MB
• Color Mode: RGB
• File Size: Minimum 5 MB
• Criteria: The photograph must not contain any logos, signatures, or watermarks. Both color and black-and-white works are accepted.
3. Print Format
• Dimensions: 50 × 70 cm (Vertical or horizontal – 2:3 ratio)
• Print Type: Forex-style
• Framing: Will be handled by the organizing committee.
4. Submission Format
• Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 photographs.
• File Naming: FirstName_LastName_PhotoTitle.jpg
• Method: Photographs must be submitted via a WeTransfer or Google Drive link.

5. Selection Process
• Entries will be evaluated by a selection committee to be formed.
• The owners of works selected for the exhibition will be notified separately.
• The exhibition will be presented to conference participants as part of the TÜRSAB Tourism Congress.
6. Copyright and Usage Rights
• The copyright of the submitted photographs belongs to the author.
• Participants are deemed to have granted permission for their works to be used in print and digital media as part of exhibition and promotional activities.
• The author is responsible for any copyright infringements that may be incurred by third parties.
